Our other online resources

A number of our archives have dedicated search tools:

York Cause Papers

Findmypast

Findmypast now contains entries from both our Parish Registers and Probate/Marriage bond collections (the latter formerly available via British Origins):

Search findmypast.co.uk

Over 3.2 million entries from the historic Parish Registers and Bishops' transcripts which we care for are available online in conjunction with www.findmypast.co.uk

The entries include indexed images of registers of baptism, marriage and burial from over 350 parishes from Yorkshire and beyond, spanning over 450 years of history. The collection also includes entries from our Bishops' transcripts collection, and so includes copies of parish entries from the whole of Yorkshire.

Access to findmypast.co.uk is free of charge on-site at the Borthwick and many other local libraries.
