Highlights from YBRI's first social events

Posted on 28 March 2019

The first three York Biomedical Research Institute social events were themed around Immunology, Haematology and Infection (24 January 2019), Neuroscience (28 February 2019) and Molecular and Cellular Medicine (28 March 2019).

The events, which took place in the Biology Atrium, were a great success, with many people enjoying the wine, pizza and networking.

Each event provided a platform for people to present their research in an informal environment.

Dr Nathaniel Jones (Postdoctoral Research Fellow) provided a fun activity enabling members to find out more about each other at the Immunology, Haematology and Infection Social.

In a similar vein, Dr Sreemoti Banerjee (Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Jack Burch Unit) created ‘techniques bingo’ for the Molecular and Cellular Medicine social.
