Applying to our programme

We offer two undergraduate courses: a 3-year programme leading to the award of a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Psychology and a 4-year programme leading to the award of a Master of Psychology (MPsych) degree.

  • Both programmes are accredited by the British Psychological Society
  • A personal supervisor will support you through your time at York
  • You’ll receive a broad coverage of the science of Psychology in your first two years
  • You’ll have the opportunity to specialise in areas of your choice in your 3rd (and 4th) year
  • You’ll undertake a research project in a world-leading department of psychology
