Research

Overview

Sleep, dreaming and memory consolidation. Pedagogical research that advocates for the inclusion of marginalised or underrepresented voices in best pratice.

Projects

My portfolio of research also centers on voice-based pedagogy: the advocacy and inclusion of marginalised or underrepresented perspectives across research, teaching, and learning practices. I focus on translating these perspectives into usable, evidence-based resources that support inclusive practice. Key initiatives include:

  • Graduate Voices Project (2022–2024): Led the development of video-based resources featuring advice from minoritized UoY alumni to support current students.

  • Toolkit for Including Disabled People in Research (2024–2026): Led the working group that developed this award-winning resource.

  • UPLIFT Project (2025–present): Leading an initiative designed to mitigate feelings of imposterism among higher education students.
