At the fourth annual Community Without Limits Inclusive Impact Awards held at the Merchant Adventurers’ Hall on Tuesday 25 November Jeremy Moulton was a finalist in the Alchemist Award for turning constraint into opportunities in the area of teaching innovation and Sara de Jong and Simon Parker along with Rachel Alsop from the Centre for Women’s Studies and Sociology were highly commended as finalists in the Bridge Builder Award for spanning teaching-research-practice divides for their contribution to developing the University of York as a University of Sanctuary. The evening was hosted by the Vice-Chancellor Charlie Jeffery and the Pro-Vice Chancellor for Partnerships and Engagement Kiran Trehan, who noted that finalists had been selected from over a hundred nominations for work which had distinguished itself through its genuine commitment to creating meaningful impact.
