Research

Overview

Stefanos’ research is currently focused on ionising radiation detection technology and leads detector developments that are applied in the areas of fundamental research and societal applications. Stefanos is studying exotic nuclei, which provide a fertile ground to study some key properties of the strong nuclear force and help us understand better how nucleons group together and how nuclear structure emerges and evolves towards heavier systems.
