All Philosophy assessments are subject to general University regulations, as documented in the University’s Guide to Assessment Policies and Procedures, and Regulation 5, Regulation on Assessment.
All assessed essays have a maximum word count which is included in the information below. Essays exceeding this limit will be penalised. It is your responsibility to check the word limits for each piece of assessed work you submit. Word counts must be declared on the front page of your work. *Dates and times of examinations will be published via your on-line timetable nearer the time. Please note that the dates of exams are centrally timetabled by the University and not by Philosophy Department staff.
