Elective modules
The University offers different types of Elective modules: York Language Electives (YLEs), York Interdisciplinery Modules exploring sustainability (YIMs) and general elective modules.
Philosophy students wishing to take a YLE, YIMs or a general elective module in another department should first check the rules of their programme to see if they are allowed to take electives in outside of their enrolled programme of study.
