Adam Hirst

Adam is part of the Department of Biology at the University of York, and recently took part in the Three Minute Thesis competition. In this competition ten research students have just three minutes to communicate the impact of their research to an audience made up of school pupils, teachers, members of the general public and industry. His research project was entitled ‘Lightsabers in the Lab: Cancer, are you Scared?’.
