Shinya Shoda

Dr Shinya Shoda is an expert in East Asia archaeology. His main research topic is diet and culinary practices in the past. Working as a Marie Curie Incoming Fellow in BioArCh at the University of York, he is applying organic residue analysis to one of the oldest pottery objects in the world in East Asia to know about the motivation for the pottery innovation of human beings and its significance in world prehistory.
