Beatrice Demarchi

Beatrice Demarchi joined the University of York in 2006 as a Marie Curie PhD student and is currently working as a researcher in Chemistry and Archaeology.

“I’m a researcher interested in the application of analytical chemistry to the archaeological and cultural heritage records. My latest fascination is with prehistoric jewellery made with shells. I enjoy working with people from different backgrounds because then I always learn something new!”
