Our Open Days provide you with the opportunity to find out more about what it's like to be a York student.
You will also be able to ask detailed questions about our Natural Sciences courses.
If you can't attend an Open Day, we have a new app, Visit UoY, which allows you to take a self-guided tour of campus narrated by our current students. You can either visit us in-person and explore the campus for yourself or get the campus tour experience from the comfort of your own home. The app is available on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store and can be found by searching ‘Visit UoY’. Campus tours has more inforamtion about other ways to explore the campus.
We are happy to arrange an informal visit to the School of Natural Sciences. To do so, you can contact our Senior Admissions Tutor, Dr Christoph Baumann, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once you have received an offer, we will invite you to attend one of our visit days, which take place between January and April. We strongly recommend that you attend one of these, especially if you have not visited us on a pre-application Open Day. If you cannot come on the days we offer, we will do our best to arrange for you to visit on an alternative occasion.
During our visit days, you will have the opportunity to meet staff and current students, see our Learning Studio and a selection of the facilities on offer as well as a look around the campus including a visit to student accommodation. You will have plenty of chances to ask any questions about your chosen pathway and the School of Natural Sciences, and about what it is like to be a student at York.
