An information event for prospective postgraduates in the departments of Archaeology (old)English and Related Literature (old)History and Philosophy, and the Centre for Medieval Studies, Centre for Renaissance and Early Modern Studies, Centre for Eighteenth Century Studies and Centre for Modern Studies.

The event will offer prospective students the opportunity to find out about MA programmes and PhD study in these departments and centres. You will be able to speak to programme convenors and current students, and ask questions about the application process and funding opportunities.

The afternoon will include a talk by the Director of the Humanities Research Centre about the facilities available to arts and humanities postgraduates at York, and talks by members of academic staff about postgraduate study in their departments and centres. 

Lunch will be available on arrival, and the afternoon will end with tea and cakes.
