York historian appears on 'Talking Tudors' podcast

Dr Emma Wells, an expert in pilgrimage studies, ecclesiastical history and architecture, has been talking about her work on Tudors and significant historical buildings and sites.

Dr Emma Wells, Associate Lecturer for the Centre for Lifelong Learning, has featured in historical podcast, 'Talking Tudors'. Episode eight, 'Tudor Trail: Talking Tudors’ Emma talks to podcast host, Natalie Grueninger, about her work and research around sacred sites, relics, and medieval and Tudor pilgrimage in England.

There have been several other historians on the podcast, all talking about their research and areas of expertise. Episode seven features Suzannah Lipscomb, who talks about Henry the VIII and his queens, while Joanne Paul discussed the Tudor era's most prominent and controversial figures.
