Dr David Turner, Associate Lecturer and Programme Director of the MA in Railway Studies at York, has featured in the BBC One series Heir Hunters.

The show explores attempts to find unknown heirs to deceased individuals’ estates before the British Treasury lawfully inherits the money. David shared his knowledge on railway detectives in the episode entitled Clench/Rogerson which first aired on Friday 20 April.
