University of York lecturer and students take part in a classroom-based seminar

This course will introduce Dylan Thomas’ poetry through close readings of a selection of his poems. We will pay special attention to the influence of Welsh-language poetry on his work, through the formal sound patterns which produce the auditory effects for which he is famous.
