King Arthur: From Legend to Myth

Who was Arthur and did he really exist at all? Of the many sixth century Arthurs, which one is ‘The Arthur’, and was he based in the county now called Yorkshire? This day course will examine the evidence for an historical Arthur, the different contenders, and how the story was transmitted and changed into a tale for all times.
