The Sociological Imagination: An Introduction to Sociological Ideas and Methods

This course will introduce the ways sociologists think and research such subjects as health (physical and mental), crime, violence, psychotherapy, and sexuality. The sociological imagination incorporates ideas from many other academic disciplines (for example, philosophy, anthropology, politics, social psychology, and economics) with the aim of understanding and changing the world for the better.
