Geology of the Yorkshire Coast

Southern England tends to grab the headlines, but Yorkshire's own Jurassic Coast is easily its equal. From Redcar to Spurn, it offers up dinosaur-trampled Jurassic coastlines, sponge-filled Cretaceous oceans, and ice-scoured Quaternary landscapes. In this half-day course, you will be introduced to some of the Yorkshire Coast's key geological stories and most intriguing rock-spots. Warning: your seaside holidays may never be the same again!
