This course will introduce the basics of Python - an extremely useful, general-purpose programming language. After a gentle introduction that focuses on basic questions such as ‘How do computers work?’ and ‘What is a programming language?’, we will dive into the fundamentals of Python, before eventually learning how to use third-party libraries for data visualisation. To participate you will need a laptop, a good internet connection, and a strong desire to learn more about computers, programming, and data visualisation.
