In 1568 Mary Queen of Scots fled to England in search of support to regain her throne. This day class will examine the reputation and career of Mary Queen of Scots, a queen regnant in the male dominated world of the sixteenth century. Was Mary involved in the murder of her second husband, Henry Lord Darnley? Did Mary conspire in Catholic plots against Elizabeth I? Or was Mary Queen of Scots just a pawn in the hands of scheming noblemen?
