Literary Adventures in Creative Writing

Tuesday 25 January 2022, 2.00PM to 4.00pm

Speaker(s): Helen Kenwright BA MA PhD

No writer writes in a vacuum - we are all influenced by what we read. In this course we will look at examples of creative writing from a variety of sources, including classics, contemporary literature and transmedia works, and find inspiration, skills and techniques we can use to improve our own writing. No previous experience of literary analysis required. Over the eight weeks of the course we will build our own portfolios of work in a range of genres and forms.
