Dialogue in fiction does so much more than convey information. It's a vital part of storytelling - essential for creating character; furthering plot and drawing readers into the heart of your story. Following the session, 'Writing with Attitude', this one explores 'Voice' and 'Silence' - how these and other key aspects of dialogue can make your stories grip the reader. You do not need to have attended 'Writing with Attitude'; we'll use new exercises and examples to learn new essential tips for strong and purposeful dialogue.
This course will be delivered via Zoom. Students joining our online courses would need access to a computer, laptop or tablet with a microphone (essential) and a webcam (desirable) as well as a reliable broadband connection.
