A look at the science of the stars!
We will discuss the interior mechanisms of stars, including the nucleosynthesis of elements in their cores - and how they use this to create vast amounts of energy. We will examine various classes of star, and their evolution, closing with a look at "galactic archeology": how we use our knowledge of stars to piece together the history of our Galaxy.
