This course will assist you in following current debates on such issues, and will help in forming your own judgments. Topics include: different market structures and why they are regulated; international trade relations and exchange rates; money, financial markets and interest rates; taxation, government debt; and growth, employment and inflation. We will refer to current issues and examples throughout, and learn how to understand the figures.
