Technological Advancements in Archaeology and Geoscience

Over the last two centuries important technological breakthroughs have radically changed the way we look at the past. This course will provide an overview of the most common scientific methodologies and technologies applied in archaeology and geology. Their importance, applications and limitations will be discussed to critically evaluate the data generated in archaeological and geological science. This course is suited for people with basic knowledge of archaeological and geological principles; however previous knowledge in these disciplines is not essential.
