Biography

Helen is a qualified nurse, registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. She began her PhD, part-time, at the University of York in September 2012.

• Post- graduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education
• MSc in Health Sciences from Birmingham University

Research

Overview

Helen's research interests include medicines management, patient compliance or concordance and decision-making within these areas. 

Projects

Helen's PhD thesis is on the factors that mental health nurses use to make decisions when giving PRN (as required) medication.
