Biography

Stephanie joined York Trials Unit in June 2025 as a Trial Support Officer, having previously worked within the Cancer and Complex Interventions divisions at Leeds Institute of Clinical Trial Research. She brings experience in patient and public involvement across both research and mental health settings, and has a scientific background through her degree and previous lab-based roles.

  • BioDriveAFS – an RCT investigating the impact of a biomarker driven Antifungal Stewardship strategy on antifungal drug use and health related quality of life for patients with acute leukaemia.
  • DIDACT - Multi-centre randomised controlled trial to assess the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of surgery compared with sling immobilisation in the management of adults with radiological diagnosis of a displaced fracture of the distal clavicle that does not involve the acromioclavicular joint.
