Biography

• Background in child health, public health nursing and psychology
• 1984 – 1997 worked with Oxford University’s Cancer Epidemiology Unit (CEU) and Department of Paediatrics on a variety of studies concerning the health and development of babies and children
• Moved to the University of Leeds in 1997 and the University of York in 2004

Main areas of interest are reproductive epidemiology and child health

• Determinants of child health and adverse reproductive events: Born and Bred in Yorkshire (BABY)
• Effective use of routinely collected health data for epidemiological research
