Profile

Biography

Lucy joined YTU as a Research Fellow (Trial Coordinator) in September 2022 from the Trials Unit at the University of Leeds where she worked as a Trial Coordinator in the cancer and palliative care portfolio. Lucy has experience working in both Primary and Secondary care research.

Prior to working at the Trials Unit, Lucy completed a Master's in Translational Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Bristol.

Overview

Lucy is interested in Mental Health and Cardiovascular research.

Projects

  • DIAMONDS - Improving diabetes self-management for people with severe mental illness.
  • OPAL2 - A multi-centre RCT comparing the OPAL occupational support programme with usual care on the time to return-to-work in patients undergoing elective hip or knee replacement surgery.
