Profile

Biography

Lisa is a Research Fellow in the Mental Health and Addiction Research Group and currently manages the SCEPTRE programme.  SCEPTRE: Promoting Smoking CEssation and PrevenTing RElapse in people with mental illness after a smoke free mental health inpatient stay.  Lisa has a background in developing health-related interventions using both quantitative and qualitative methodologies.  Lisa completed her PhD in Epidemiology and Public Health at the University of Nottingham in 2018.

Research

Overview

Lisa's main research interests centre around tobacco control and nicotine research, particularly in vulnerable or under-researched populations, and the development and evaluation of complex interventions.  Lisa’s other research interests include intended and unintended effects of interventions in healthcare and the co-production of health and social care innovations.
