Biography

Jessica joined YTU as a Trial Support Officer in April 2023 and became a Trial Coordinator in May 2025. Before this role, Jessica worked in the laboratory research team at York Hospital. Jessica has a background in physiotherapy and has experience working in a range of NHS settings.

• BSc (Hons) Biochemistry with Immunology
• MSc Physiotherapy (pre-registration)

• FARSTER-Care - An RCT investigating whether, following cardiac surgery with full median sternotomy, an accelerated cardiac rehabilitation pathway will lead to improved patient outcomes and is cost effective compared to the usual timing of cardiac rehabilitation.
