Biography

James is currently Macmillan palliative care clinical nurse specialist at York Hospital and on secondment one day per week to support the Non-Medical Prescribing and Medicines Management programmes in the Department of Health Sciences.

James has worked in variety of clinical and management roles across community, hospital and hospice settings, both in UK and in New Zealand.

Overview

James' research interests lie in the concept of “balance” within palliative care/advanced disease and decision making around place of death preferences.
