Biography

Helen is a registered nurse with many years of experience in a variety of junior and senior roles in different clinical settings which also incorporated clinical education.  As part of her clinical responsibilities, Helen supported and educated students and was a Mentor, Practice Supervisor and Practice Assessor.

Helen is an Associate Lecturer with the Practice Learning Link team. Her role is to provide a link between the students, the university and staff in various practice placement areas to ensure that students have a background support whilst in the practice learning environment.
The focus of the Associate Lecturer role is to support students, practice supervisors, practice assessors and academic assessors to promote education, learning and assessment in a variety of clinical settings across our locality.

Qualifications

●    Registered Nurse BSc (Hons)
●    Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Education (PGC-CE)
