Biography
Danny joined the York Trials Unit in 2025. He previously worked at Swansea Trials Unit which he joined after completing a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics at Loughborough University in 2021.

- FARSTER-Care - An RCT investigating whether, following cardiac surgery with full median sternotomy, an accelerated cardiac rehabilitation pathway will lead to improved patient outcomes and is cost effective compared to the usual timing of cardiac rehabilitation.
- HAMLET - A multicentre, two-arm, non-blinded, pragmatic, parallel group, randomised controlled superiority trial assessing the clinical and cost effectiveness of Through Knee Amputation (TKA) compared to Above Knee Amputation (AKA) in patients requiring major lower limb amputations (MMLA), but who are unsuitable for a Below Knee Amputation (BKA).
- IBPI - An RCT evaluating the clinical and cost-effectiveness of an online integrated bipolar parenting intervention to improve child emotional and behavioural problems.
