Biography
Charlotte joined York Trials Unit in July 2022 and is a Research Fellow specialising in the coordination and delivery of multicentre randomised controlled trials. She brings experience across the trial lifecycle, with particular strengths in operational management and site-level set-up.
Before joining YTU, Charlotte worked as a Trial Coordinator within the Clinical Research Department at Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust.
Charlotte has coordinated a broad portfolio of complex and collaborative studies, including CTIMPs, vaccine trials, surgical trials and clinical device research across multiple specialties.

- ProFHER-2 - PROximal Fracture of the Humerus: Evaluation by Randomisation Trial no. 2
- RIVIVAL - Randomised placebo-controlled trial of intravenous iron for improving physical performance and quality of life in patients with chronic limb-threatening ischaemia and anaemia following revascularisation.
- SORE Elbow - A feasibility trial for conducting a RCT evaluating the clinical and cost-effectiveness of surgery versus physiotherapy for adults with Tennis Elbow persisting for more than 6 months.
