Profile

Biography

Charlotte joined YTU in July 2022 from the Clinical Research Department at Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust, where she worked as the organisation’s first Clinical Trial Coordinator.

Prior to this, Charlotte worked at Mid Yorkshire Hospitals as a Clinical Trials Assistant in Oncology, Trauma & Orthopaedics and Critical Care, before being appointed as the Trust’s first Senior Clinical Trials Assistant, where she undertook line management responsibilities and developing opportunities for a team of trial support staff.

Charlotte has experience in multi-disciplinary trial set-up and coordination across a variety of collaborative projects, most recently, a randomised controlled trial to evaluate an investigational vaccine in the prevention of invasive E.Coli disease among older adults and an electronic birth cohort study to inform place-based research opportunities and improvements to local care and services (Born and Bred in Wakefield).
