Beth is a geographer specialising in the intersection of climate change, hydrology, and public health. Her research has focused on geospatial methodologies for representing flood impacts to health access, with a particular interest in addressing climate-resiliency challenges for African maternal health. For her previous research focused on the Barotse Floodplain in Zambia, Beth received the Early Career Award at the 2024 Global Flood Partnership Annual Conference held in Nairobi, Kenya.
Beth is currently working in Amanda Mason-Jones’ Reproductive and Maternal Health Research group as co-investigator on the Maternal Health and Floods project.
