Biography
Andre Bedendo first joined the Department of Health Sciences as a Visiting Research Fellow in 2019. He returned in 2021 as a Research Associate and was promoted to Research Fellow in 2024. Before joining the University he worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Department of Psychobiology (UNIFESP; 2017-2021).
His research spans a range of health-related topics, including drug use, complex health conditions, mental health and cancer. He has expertise in quantitative research methods - both observational and experimental- and has applied advanced statistical analyses, particularly in studies related to health, psychology and behaviour.
Andre has over a decade of teaching experience and has been supervising postgraduate students since 2016.
