Biography

Dr Adam Formby is a social scientist based at the Department of Health Sciences at the University York, whose work primarily focuses on inequalities and social policies in education, public health, social security, employment and youth policy. He has published in journals such as Journal of Social Inclusion; People, Place and Policy; Poverty and Social Justice and the Medical Law Review. His most recent work examines inclusive forms of urban regeneration, young people in coastal communities (approaching higher education and work) and social security reform.
