Elias will talk about Mental Health in the Digital Age and the Dangerous Powers of the E-Personality. Elias's expertise is in the digital space, from cyberbullying and online extremism to internet/gaming addiction and online therapy.

Elias co-founded one the first telepsychiatry companies in Silicon Valley and has served as advisor to startups in the field. He lectures extensively for universities, government agencies, and commercial organisations both in the US and internationally.

Notable publications include his authored book "Virtually You: The Dangerous Powers of the E-Personality", which featured in the New York Times as an Editor's Choice, and his edited volume "Mental Health in the Digital Age: Grave Dangers, Great Promise", which gives a state of the art overview of evidence in the field of digital technologies and mental health. His work has achieved wide reach and media coverage by The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal,The Washington Post, The Harvard Business Review, The Chronicle of Higher Education, Congressional Quarterly, Wired, TIME, and Newsweek.
