Advanced Clinical Practice

This part-time course will prepare you for the role of Advanced Clinical Practitioner in primary or secondary care.

The demand for qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioners is growing, and on completion of this course, you will be able to apply for and work as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner. As this is a generic course, you will be able to apply your skills in different clinical settings.

This programme is open to qualified nurses, paramedics, pharmacists and physiotherapists who have at least three years clinical experience. You will need separate and specific support from your employing organisation. Advanced Clinical Practice is available as both a two-year part-time Postgraduate Diploma course and a three-year part-time MSc course. The content on both these courses is very similar, however on the three-year MSc course you will undertake a service improvement project in your final year.
