Publication news! The Cambridge History of the Gothic

CECS and Department of English and Related Literature academics Jim Watt and Deborah Russell have contributed chapters to this publication.

Deborah Russell's chapter is on 'Domestic Gothic Writing after Horace Walpole and before Ann Radcliffe' and Jim Watt's chapter is on 'Early British Gothic and the American Revolution'.

CECS MA and English PhD graduate, Ruth Scobie, has also contributed a chapter on a 'A World of Bad Spirits': The Terrors of Eighteenth-Century Empire'
