Posted on 1 February 2016

Education research student Laura Louise Nicklin has won the Social Sciences faculty prize in the PhD Research Spotlight competition.

Laura was shortlisted for the prize for her film "Condemn the fault and not the actor of it", covering initial findings from an ethnographic exploration of Shakespeare-specific criminal rehabilitation projects in the USA.

Laura said: "York Talks gave me an opportunity to engage with the reasons I care about my research and the potential impact it can make."

Vice-Chancellor Koen Lamberts presented the winners with their prizes and all participants with a certificate for attending the day.
