The responsibilities of the social studies researcher: international comparisons

Dr. Noboru Tanaka of the Faculty of Education, Gifu University, Japan recently visited the Centre for Research on Education and Social Justice.

The principal purpose of the visit was to discuss a comparative study on the responsibility of social studies researcher. The research is exploring the diverse disciplinary, social, cultural, institutional and historical contexts underpinning social studies research. There were also discussions about the latest developments in citizenship education.
