The Department of Education welcomes over 200 delegates of the 24th annual conference of the European Second Language Association (EUROSLA) to University of York.

The conference is being held in the Ron Cooke Hub at Heslington East campus from 3-6 September.

Plenary speakers include: Natasha Tokowicz (University of Pittsburgh),‘Translation ambiguity in language learning, processing, and representation’; Albert Costa (Universitat Pompeu Fabra), ‘Those who know nothing of foreign languages, know nothing of their own’; Sharon Unsworth (Radboud University Nijmegen on ‘Age and input in language acquisition: Insights from children growing up with two languages’; Leah Roberts (University of York), ‘Grammar, parsing and second language acquisition’.
