BSc Psychology in Education gains BPS accreditation

Posted on 13 February 2013

Our new programme gains accreditation from the British Psychological Society

Our BSc Psychology in Education programme has received accreditation from the British Psychological Society, the professional body for psychology in the UK. This is an exciting development for our new programme and means that our students will be eligible for Graduate Basis for Chartered membership of the Society (GBC) on graduation.

It opens up a range of postgraduate training opportunities, such as clinical psychology and educational psychology, for which an accredited degree is a requirement, as well as giving future employers confidence in the knowledge and skills gained by our students over the course of their degree.

We are thrilled with this news and look forward to welcoming our first students in September 2013.
