Education PhD students present posters at the first White Rose DTC Conference

Three first-year doctoral students from the Department of Education were selected to present a poster at the White Rose Social Science Doctoral Training Centre Annual Conference.

David Brining, Rowena Hanan and Ioanna Katsikopoulou presented posters about their research to an audience of over 150 doctoral students and staff from Leeds, Sheffield and York. The Conference, entitled 'Methodological challenges for the 21st Century', was held at the University of York on 2nd May 2012, and included among its speakers Professor Paul Boyle, Chief Executive of the Economic and Social Research Council.
