The Centre for Research on Education and Social Justice's summer term seminar took place in the Department of Education on 12 June. The principal speaker was Dr. Vikki Boliver (Durham University). Her paper was entitled: 'How fair is access to more prestigious UK universities'. The discussant was Dr. Paul Wakeling of the Department of Education. The seminar was attended by York academic and policy staff as well as colleagues from several other UK universities. The seminar was sponsored by the  Higher Education Academy.
