Students rank Educational Studies in the top ten for teaching

The Department of Educational Studies at the University of York has been ranked in the top ten of UK universities’ Education departments for the quality of its teaching

The Department of Educational Studies  at the University of York has been ranked in the top ten of UK universities’ Education departments for the quality of its teaching, academic support and organisation and management. Overall, 89% of Educational Studies students at York expressed satisfaction with their courses. The Department received the highest response rate in the University and of UK Higher Education Institutions in our subject area.

We place the utmost importance on the student experience and student voice across all our programmes. These results indicate that our students continue to enjoy excellent teaching and support.

In a nationwide survey, final year students were asked whether they agreed with 21 statements about the quality of their degree programmes.
