Mary Whitehouse is elected as new Chair-Elect for the ASE

Congratulations to Mary Whitehouse who has been confirmed as the new Chair-Elect of the Association for Science Education (ASE) starting from 1 August 2017.

Elected candidates remain part of the chair trio for three consecutive years, becoming Chair for 2018/19 and Past Chair for 2019/20. Members are relied upon to provide representation of the science education community at all levels and to contribute to the Association's mission to improve the teaching of science, as set out by the ASE's Royal Charter.
